I asked. They answered.

Here’s what parents told me when I asked how it really feels.

Real responses, shared anonymously.

RELENTLESSLY EXHAUSTING

It feels like an abusive relationship sometimes.

Faaaaaarking tiring lol. I’m spicy, son almost 13, also spicy, daughter almost 6 also spicy.

Messy, unpredictable, mum guilt, worry, uncertainty.

Lost, guilty, exhausted.

It’s exhausting and I feel like I’m failing every single day.

I am a tangerine.

I lose patience and hate myself for it.

I’m tired of arguing.

I feel like I am putting in above average effort for below average outcomes.

Living with the ‘possible meltdown radar’ always on because I’m exhausted.

It is the hardest thing I have ever done. And I love him so much.

A reminder, in case you’ve forgotten

You are not failing.
Your child is not broken.
You are both drowning in a home that was never designed for their brain.

A 10-year-old with ADHD can have the executive function of a 6-year-old. That’s not behaviour. That’s not parenting. That’s a developmental gap of four years - and your home, your morning, your homework hour are all quietly demanding that they close it through willpower alone. It was always going to break someone. It’s been breaking you both.

Here’s what changes everything

You cannot love, reward, or discipline a child out of an
executive function delay.

You can only scaffold around it. That’s not parenting failure - that’s neuroscience. It’s what every paediatric occupational therapist is trained to do. After a decade in clinic, I’ve distilled the entire approach into a three-step framework you can run in your own home.

Reduce. Reveal. Remind.
The three moves that change everything.

When the environment holds the executive function your child doesn’t yet have, everything softens. Mornings move. Homework stops being a war. For many children the meltdowns lose their teeth. You stop nagging. They stop resisting. You both start to breathe again.

And something else quietly comes back - the thing you thought you’d lost for good. The joy. The laughter at breakfast. The Saturday morning that doesn’t start in tears. The child you remember underneath the ADHD, who has been there the whole time.

What actually changes when the
home starts doing the work.

You don’t need a different child. You need a different set-up. And you can feel the shift start - genuinely - in the first week.

Right now

Your family is surviving. No one is really living.

  • You wake up already bracing. The day hasn’t started and you’re tired.
  • You’re repeating, reminding, rescuing - and still running late.
  • The meltdowns, the refusals, the “I can’t find my shoes” - it’s a loop you can’t get out of.
  • You lose your temper and then lie awake hating yourself for it.
  • Your child is starting to believe the story that they’re the problem.
  • You’ve forgotten what your family felt like when it was working.
Within weeks

The house has a different rhythm. You can feel it by Friday.

  • Mornings run on the environment, not your voice.
  • Your child walks in the door and knows what comes next - without being told.
  • For many children the meltdowns get shorter. Quieter. Further apart.
  • You’re not the nag. You get to be the parent again.
  • Your child starts to feel competent - because the home stops setting them up to fail.
  • The laughter comes back. The Saturday morning you thought you’d lost - it shows up, just quietly.

Real families. Real changes.

From parents already inside.

2,790 families have done this with me already - including you. Here’s what changed for three of them.

Morning routines with the little ones are so much better. We are actually happy and moving faster out the door. I don’t feel anxious in the morning or like I’m nagging nearly as much as I was before.

What’s NEW in V2.0

Five personalised tools. Your situation, instantly.

This is what’s changed since V1. Five AI-powered tools that take the framework you already know and make it specific to your child, your home, your situation. The course tells you what to do. These tools tell you exactly how, for your family.

The EF Profile - Quiet the Chaos V2.0 tool

Tool one · Works with Module 1

The EF profile.

Eleven skills. Three layers. Your child’s pattern.

A snapshot of your child’s exact executive function profile - which skills are strong, which are still developing, and which moments of the day they’ll struggle with most.

The starting point for everything that follows.

The Home Audit - Quiet the Chaos V2.0 tool

Tool two · Works with Module 2

The home audit.

Room by room. Three principles. One simpler home.

Tell it about your home and your biggest pressure points. It gives you a personalised audit - what to change first, why, and exactly where it goes.

Like having Tarryn walk through your house with you.

The Routine Builder - Quiet the Chaos V2.0 tool

Tool three · Works with Modules 3 & 4

The routine builder.

Mornings. Evenings. Anything. Built for them.

A personalised routine for your child’s age, gaps and family setup - morning, after-school, or evening. The actual sequence, timing and visual cues.

Not a generic checklist.

The Hard Moments Helper - Quiet the Chaos V2.0 tool

Tool four · Works with Module 5

The hard moments helper.

Meltdowns. Refusals. Big feelings. Words that work.

Tell it the moment. The refusal. The “I hate you.” It gives you the actual words - calm, ADHD-brain-friendly scripts in Tarryn’s voice, designed to de-escalate without raising your own.

For 7:42am, when you need them most.

The Routine Troubleshooter - Quiet the Chaos V2.0 tool

Tool five · Works with Module 6

The routine troubleshooter.

Stuck. Stale. Slipping. Get it working again.

The routine that worked last month doesn’t work this week. Tell it what’s stopped - it tells you which EF skill is failing, why, and what to adjust.

For the inevitable wobble.

The six modules you know - rebuilt

Six modules. Five tools. One system.

The modules you remember from V1 - refined, sharpened, and paired with a tool that personalises everything to your child. Every module runs the Reduce. Reveal. Remind. framework against one part of your day.

01Module

Understand what you’re actually dealing with

A plain-language map of executive function. Identify the gaps. See where they show up at home.

By the end you’ll have:

  • Your child’s personalised EF profile across 11 skills
  • A clear map of which gaps are driving which moments
  • The two or three flashpoints to fix first
EF Profile + Flashpoint Mapper
02Module

Redesign the home so it does the heavy lifting

Room by room. The OT walkthrough of what works against an ADHD brain - and how to flip it.

By the end you’ll have:

  • A full home audit against the three principles
  • A weekend’s worth of quick-win changes
  • Specific setups for every room your child uses
Home Audit Checklist
03Module

Build mornings your child can run themselves

Why mornings break at the same point every day - and how to design a morning that holds without your voice.

By the end you’ll have:

  • A personalised morning routine in three age bands
  • A launch zone setup so the door stops being the flashpoint
  • A printable visual schedule sized for your child
Routine Builder
04Module

Fix the after-school crash, the homework standoff, the long bedtime

The second half of the day. All three rebuilt around how their brain actually ends the day.

By the end you’ll have:

  • A landing zone, homework station and evening rhythm
  • The Teacher Note Template to send before the next standoff
  • A bedtime that doesn’t take two hours
Routine Builder + setup guides
05Module

Stop the verbal moments that usually escalate

Why “just tell them” stops working. The scripts that don’t make it worse. And the in-the-moment generator for when you don’t know what to say.

By the end you’ll have:

  • Scripts for the moments that usually turn into arguments
  • An in-the-moment tool you can use mid-meltdown for a custom script
  • A communication style that works with the EF gap, not against it
In-the-moment script generator
06Module

Troubleshoot when (not if) it falls apart

Because every routine breaks at some point. Here’s how to find the leak, patch it, and keep yourself regulated through the process.

By the end you’ll have:

  • A troubleshooting framework for any routine that’s stopped working
  • Tools for transitions, change and the moments you can’t predict
  • Strategies for staying regulated enough to co-regulate them

Tarryn Poulton - Paediatric Occupational Therapist and mum of a daughter with ADHD

Meet Tarryn

Paediatric OT. Mum of a daughter with ADHD.

I’m a paediatric occupational therapist with over a decade of experience working with children with ADHD. But more importantly - I’m a mum raising a daughter with ADHD. I understand the unique kind of exhausted that comes from loving a child whose brain works differently.

Everything in this program comes from both my clinical training and my actual daily life at home. Quiet the Chaos isn’t a behaviour programme. It’s not a parenting book. It’s the home-design system I use with my private clients - made buildable by you, at home, without me in the room.

You were one of the first 2,790 families to trust this approach. V2 is everything I’ve learned since - rewritten, rebuilt, and paired with five new tools that personalise it to your child. It’s here as a thank-you, if you want it.

If you’ve drifted from the system, or just want what’s new - here it is, for you.

Is this upgrade right for you?

This upgrade is for QTC original customers who…

This is for you

  • You bought QTC original and want what’s new since
  • You want the personalised tools to apply the framework to your child
  • You’ve drifted from the system and want a fresh, sharper version
  • You want the School Survival Guide and RSD Toolkit alongside
  • You’re open to using AI tools that do the implementation with you
  • You want a calmer house, not perfection

This probably isn’t for you

  • You’re still actively running V1 and it’s working perfectly
  • You’d prefer to stick with the original program you know
  • You’re not interested in personalised AI tools
  • You’re looking for something completely different

Frequently asked

Questions before you upgrade.

What’s actually new in V2.0 since I bought V1?

Two big things. First, the five personalised tools - the EF Profile, the Home Audit, the Routine Builder, the Hard Moments Helper and the Routine Troubleshooter. These take the framework you already know and apply it specifically to your child, your home, your situation.

Second, the modules themselves have been rewritten and refined based on what I’ve learned from 2,790 V1 homes. Same framework, sharper delivery, fewer gaps.

I already bought V1 - why am I being asked to pay again?

You’re not required to. V1 is still inside your account and still works. This page is an optional upgrade for the rebuild - the five new tools, the refreshed modules, and the two bonus products (School Survival Guide + RSD Toolkit) at a thank-you price set just for V1 customers.

If V1 is working for you, you don’t need this. It’s here when and if you want it.

How long does the upgrade take to work through?

Most parents who already know V1 move through V2 faster - you already know the framework. The new value is in the tools, which take minutes to use and produce something personalised to your child immediately. You have lifetime access either way.

What if it doesn’t feel different enough for our family?

You’re covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee. Work through the upgrade, try the tools, and if it doesn’t add value beyond V1, email me at tarryn@nurtureadhd.com within 30 days and I’ll send you a full refund. No questions asked.

My child has sensory issues and / or autism as well. Will this still work?

Many of the children inside QTC have co-occurring conditions. The home-design principles apply broadly - reducing decisions, making things visible, moving prompts into the world - and parents find these support the wider sensory and regulation picture.

That said, sensory processing always needs specialist OT input. The course flags this clearly so you know when to bring in a clinician for that specific piece.

The system you know.
The tools you didn’t have yet.

You already changed your family once with this framework. V2.0 is the same approach - with five personalised tools that do the implementation with you. Here as a thank-you, when you’re ready for it.
